October 15, 2022 Meeting

Ron Tomasch from the North Coast Woodturners club will demo his “Bowl in a Bowl”.  (It is just one bowl!) The demo is going to consist of turning a bowl in a bowl. It appears to be two bowls but is actually all one piece of wood. It involves offset turning. It also must be perfectly spherical for the bowls to be the same and centered. I will have examples of some that are not spherical and show why they must be. I have attached 3 photos of bowls that are correct.
