These rules are meant to encourage members to borrow DVDs and return them promptly. They are in effect allowing more members to have access to our library.
You must be a currently paid member to borrow from the library.
Items may only be removed from the library when the librarian is present and only returned to the librarian. (This means that no member should just drop off a tape in the library without the knowledge of the librarian.)
Before borrowing an item, the card must be filled out completely. Print the date, your name and phone number on the card and give it to the librarian.
A limit of two items may be borrowed from the library. If additional DVDs are desired, check with the librarian at the end of the meeting.
All items are due back the following month. (This means all borrowed items are returned after one month.) If you are unable to attend the next meeting, send the DVDs with another member or mail them to the librarian using the address on the case or call the librarian.
All DVDs must be returned by the May meeting for inventory, inspection and cleaning purposes. If a member wishes to take DVDs out over the summer months, they will have to send them back to the librarian by the first of AUGUST.
A fine of $5.00 per item will be charged for each month it is overdue. Fines are payable to the librarian when items are returned. Overdue moneys will be used to add items to the library.
A member with overdue items may not borrow DVDs until the overdue items have been returned and fines have been paid.
A member who has not returned a DVD in three months will be billed the list price for that item.
If an accident happens with the DVD and destroys the disc, the member is responsible to: First, notify the current librarian or a board member of the incident. Second, the member is responsible to replace the disc at their cost by the next regular meeting. The board has the option of altering this policy on a case by case basis.NOTE: This policy does not apply to the normal wear and tear of discs.

Captured Rings!
Kim Romanko will be demonstrating his methods of turning captured rings. He has challenged himself to turn multiple rings on a spindle and to see how small a ring can be made. You do not want to miss this demo.
